Exchange and Engage: Enhancing Lessons to Support English Language Learners

Original Program Description

This event will focus on catering to the needs of English language learners in content area and ESL classes. Teachers, graduate students, and others interested in working with English language learners are welcome.

Participants will:

Discuss ESL strategies and their implementation in various classroom contexts
Share lesson plans and/or materials and provide each other with constructive feedback

Participants should bring copies of their lesson plans/materials to share with others. Alternatively, lesson plans/handouts may be emailed to Lmn2118@columbia.edu by June 9th and copies will be made.
