Gretchen Oliver is the Coordinator of the Multimodal Observation
Protocol (MOP) Project through the University at Albany's Department of
Educational Theory and Practice. She facilitates professional
development activities for NYS high school Math, Science, and ENL
teachers as they design and implement strategies to meet the unique
needs of English language learners in both sheltered and mainstream
content-area classes. Additionally, she works with pre-service TESOL
teachers as a Lecturer in ETAP, teaching TESOL methods courses. She is
thankful for the NYS TESOL community, and the way it has connected her
to so many wonderful TESOL professionals around the state.
