Strategies for Success: Supporting English/Multi-Language Learners in All Learning Environments

NYS TESOL is looking for creative English language learners to participate in the NYS TESOL 49th Annual Conference logo design contest. The student creator of the winning logo will receive a cash prize of $150, online recognition, and recognition at the Annual Conference in November 2019.

Submission Guidelines:

The contest is open to current English language learners (ELLs) in all categories: K-12, University, and Adult Education.
The student must be a New York State resident.
The logo must reflect the theme of the conference.
The logo must be scalable–from as large as the front of a t-shirt to as small as the cover of the printed conference program and must render well in color as well as grayscale.

The logo is the student’s original work and includes no copyrighted or otherwise protected information material other than the NYS TESOL logo, if used. The student understands that, upon submission, the conference logo becomes the property of NYS TESOL.

The cover letter must include the student’s name, complete mailing address, telephone number, and email address. If the student needs an electronic copy of the NYS TESOL logo to incorporate into the design, please e-mail the request to vpconference@nystesol.org.

Logo entries must be saved and submitted in pdf, jpeg, or tiff
Please send any questions to Monica Baker, 2019 Conference Chair, at vpconference@nystesol.org.

All submissions must be received by February 15, 2019. Entries received later than this date will not be considered.
